Motivation -- it’s been the number one tool of leaders throughout history.

Motivation worked during the “Industrial Age” and even the “Information Age” but times have changed.  Leaders that use the old carrot-and-stick motivation strategies find they are struggling today.

What happened?

Answer:  Evolution

We have evolved into the “Inspiration Age” which requires a new leadership approach with individuals and teams.

Motivation vs. Inspiration

The dictionary defines motivation as providing someone with a motive; to move, impel, induce, incite.

To inspire means to infuse with an encouraging or exalting influence, to animate, to stimulate by a divinity, a genius, an idea or a passion.

Inspiration is derived from the Latin root spirare, meaning to breathe, to give life, to express.

The difference is clear
:  Inspiring is other-focused while motivating is self-focused. Inspiring serves you where motivating serves me.

The difference in teams is palpable: inspired people arouse the hearts of others—employees and colleagues, customers and suppliers—and this translates directly into improved business performance.

To build and lead inspired teams YOU must be inspired!

In the Leader As Coach Fast Track Program you'll learn proven strategies, tactics and tools for building and leading inspired (i.e. high performing) teams.

You’ll no longer need to rely on motivational “techniques”, seducing team members with carrots that speak only to their outer lives and superficial selves.

You’ll learn how to inspire superior performance by speaking to the inner lives and deeper needs of team members and anyone with whom you have a business relationship.

The changes you’ll make will be profound.

You’ll show up differently and people will notice.

You'll receive the ongoing support you need to APPLY what you've learned in street-smart ways.

Best of all, you’ll be working in a community of like-minded people, all of whom are reaching for a higher and better way.

This is your opportunity to learn how to move yourself and your team beyond fear and resignation and into a place of possibility and power.

This is the path of the Leader As Coach.

Read the experiences of our graduates HERE.

This is an exciting journey I look forward to taking with you.
