Brian Wilson of Adventure Teamworks, LLC in Charleston, SC just finished delivering a powerful series of leadership development programs for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade inner-city students.  Brian reports that the 4th grade students were quick to embrace the curriculum and immediately started using their newly acquired leadership skills for the betterment of the school. Accountability Value Credos

Karen Valencic of Spiral Impact led an extremely popular TeleSeminar for the IATF community entitled "How To Use Conflict Creatively In Teams".  Karen has growing requests this year to create ‘group accountability value credos.’  Karen has had the opportunity to work with several large groups (100+) and take them through a large group process to create a short series of questions they can hold each other accountable to.

Movies Make Training Fun

Theresa Gran is a mover and shaker in the Training, Development, and Performance Reporting division at Assurant and is a graduate of the IATF Leader As Coach Fast Track Program.  During the course, Theresa became inspired by the videos we shared through SimpleTruths.com.  Starting this month (June) Theresa is facilitating a "Friday Film Fest".  It's a fun way to bring the week to a positive ending.  Assurant team members are invited to watch a SimpleTruth DVD over lunch together and are provided with a "reflections handout" to carry the lesson with them.  To keep it fun, Theresa shows a short, relavant preview cartoon (and popcorn is provided!).  A new movie is featured each month.  Email Theresa for details.

EDGE-y Training

Susan Johnson is the Center Manager of The EDGE, the new hands-on team and organizational learning center at George Mason University near Washington, DC.  The EDGE features a state of the art Alpine Tower high ropes course.

Top Leadership Blog

Mike Cardus at Create Learning has a leadership blog that was recently rated as one of the best in the world!  It's should come as no surprise.  Mike is always sharing great ideas  blog shares great team and leadership resources.
